Slowly but surely the last bits are coming together...

Received my navigation gear, will install next week.

Rockfox Trip (with wheel pickup), CAP (with GPS) and Roadbook.

Trip and CAP run the same software, so if I wish to I can add a wheel pickup to CAP and GPS to Trip for full redundancy.

Thanks for this Adie and Mike, really a pleasure dealing with you, two real gentlemen  :thumleft:




Chris from Flying Brick gave me an LED strobe for my brake light - thanks Chris  :thumleft:




Still to do...

- Have a bash plate with 2l water capability fabricated (starting on that next week)
- Find a suitable small tail pack to mount on rear fender for tools
- Fit the new tyres
- To be continued...

A few more things done over the last week or so...

Upgraded suspension, front and rear








Navigation gear also installed and tested and soft, large grips fitted

Bracket for the TRIP meter wheel sensor








Made a headlight protector from an old bike screen I had




Made a number plate bracket and mounted a tool pouch on the rear fender (Kriega tool roll fits perfectly)

Went out for a ride on Sunday to test the new suspension and all the electronics, everything is great, the upgraded suspension is perfect  :thumbsup:





A few small things to still do - service, fit the new tyres, double check everything, then it is pretty much done for now...

I still hate that track - but nice to have you back.
