What Tools Do You Ride With?
« on: October 23, 2015, 11:54:42 pm »
I lost my tool roll plus leavers over this last weekend and now I'm looking at replacing them. I wanted to hear what tools you guys ride with before I go out getting replacements. Basically any 690 specific tools needs. Here is what I got in mind so far. I run Tubliss so need a pump that goes to 7 bar.

6-8-10mm socket (1/4")
Socket Drive (1/4")
Socket Drive Extender (1/4")
Motion Pro T-6 > 32mm Tyre leaver combo
Motion Pro T-6 > 27mm Tyre leaver combo
Andy's Bead Breakers and Leaver combo
Patch Kit/Tyre repair with pressure gauge
Air Pump (hand or electric) - 7 bar
Torx and Allen bits
Bit Holder (1/4")
Multi-tool - Leatherman
14mm Spark plug socket
Screw Driver Combo/Dual-Sided

Looks good Goliath.
I use the Std. KTM tools plus a specificly assembled puncture repair kit.
3x short emgo tyre levers
Plastic rim protectors
RAD bead lube
smaĺl container of valve cores, sand paper, valve removal tool
smaller 690/dirtbike axle bolt spanner
2x thin 21" tubes
Thin cards of quick mix steel. Very thin, single serving items from builders warehouse.
Air compressor
pressure guage
Got to take the time to do the things you wouldn't normally do.

Thanks. I like the idea of "Thin cards of quick mix steel. Very thin, single serving items from builders warehouse."
I always question why I take levers along as I run Tubliss but I still reckon its easier to carry, than need them one day and not have them.
