Ok, I'm in the market for a bike. Was looking at a great deal, Tenere 660Z, but unfortunately I was too late. Started out looking at a 690 KTM, but every body told me to stay away. BMW 650 I know is a solid bike, but just dont really like the looks. The KLR dont turn me on. So not much left to look at. Still want to go for an 690, but maintenance, parts etc too expensive?
What I want to do with the bike:
Maybe go for a nice ride over weekends, not much as my second baby is on the way in Feb and as soon as my son can hold on, he is now 3, take him camping on a Sat night or so. Most of the times the bike will be standing and thats why the low budget. I also think that the times my son will actually join me, wont be that much.
What do you peeps have to say or advice? Some of you I might have spoken to already.
