Bajaj Pulsar 180

Max speed - 126km/h (downhill with tailwind)

2.92L / 100kms

Topbox for laptop, lunch, rainsuit.

I only have 73,400kms on mine - never been touched. Original sprockets. See the cost below - kept meticulous records since day one.

You'd be foolish not to have a look at one of these in my opinion.

Dude, your one is a freak of nature..  Ive never seen one with that many km on it with the original motor yet alone sprockets

I met a delivery guy with one that had been clocked - over 100,000kms. He said he had it from new and the motor had never been opened. Why do you think the little road KTM's are so reliable? They made by Bajaj!!

Yesterday, when coming back from Stilbaai in the pouring rain and serious cross winds we encountered a group of 4 okes just outside Swellendam on their way back from some rally in Montagu.

They were cruising in the yellow line on the N2 at 60kph.

In the group, a new 1200LC, a KLR, an NC750 and an old Honda big scooter. I spoke to him at the Steers at Riviersonderend. All of us were wet to our skins and had clattering teeth from the cold. His scooter was packed like a Transkei bus with camping gear. How he kept that thing on the road in those winds I don't know. Albeit stupid and dangerous, I'm sure he and his mates had an unforgettable adventure riding weekend, regardless of it all being on tar.  Kudos to them for shadowing him on the road at 60kph for all those miles in that weather. It's what it's all about really  :thumleft:

I would still go for a cbx250 twister. Chop it to fit your style. Can look very close to the Enfield etc, just without the reliability issues
I'm not saying kill stupid people, I'm saying, remove the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out.
