These are new but for comparisons sake...

Yamaha BWS125 4 stroke: R40 000
definitely not in the 2T league. The 2 strokes go like stink and as I say cheaply and easily modifiable, the 4T I'm not so sure. Fund factor on the 2T is like the KTM u will love it

Off to Gumtree then.

Oh, and a T-max?

R100 000.00

So that ship has sailed.
You can pick up a low mileage BWS 100 for around 10-16k in great nick. Their motors last if looked after have a friend with 38 000km on one and many people have reported getting over 50 000km on it. New barrel and rings 115-128cc will cost you about R2k new!

Pincus racing pipe probably one of the best pipes on the market for the BWS and locally made and probably the most expensive piece of mod for around R3k. You get cheaper like Bosson, but quality not good and performance not in the league of the pincus. you can import but they have baffles in the bloody things. Pincus is that good with a well balanced expansion box http://www.prd.co.za/

Ander scooters is amper 'n disposable item

Vir my laaitie gegee toe ek die AT kry.  Baie baie spyt daaroor.
I'm not totally useless - I can be used as a bad example

I am going to look at a BWS tomorrow afternoon.

Let's see what happens.

I wish I never saw Poffmuis's photo though... there are so many bikes I want.
