thanks. These were mostly shot on a nikon d80 with a 12-24 lens, long exposures with a tripod. Not a pro... just for fun.

HIJACK...
have you ever had problems with tankslappers on corrugations on gravel road? trying to figure out if it's my suspension setup or the tyres or inexperience or typical of the Xco?

yeah especially that road between Solitaire S23.88758 E16.00461 and Walvisbay S22.95456 E14.51981...
some hectic tank slappin. in the dips...
the gravel is 'soft' so it makes thick ridges of a sand and stone mixture.
and inbetween the sinkplaat effect.
watlzing matilda they say....
but other than that... gravel is comfy.

IMO another 1 of the most underated DS bikes around. Pity about fuel tank size. Every thing elseis almost perfect. Took 1 spin last week. What a heap of fun

Just got back from the beautiful and amazing Western Cape. I decided to rent an F800 for it's extra weight capacity (
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=544510
) but I did manage to spy one XCountry there:
