I'm proud of the way the Gautengers have stood together and given the ANC the middle finger :thumleft:

Next target should be wasteful spending of our taxes.

I wonder what the total number of voluntary payers really is.

Consider the fact that businesses such as rental cars, logistics transporters etc will need an etag to comply with their insurance provisions and customer contracts, if you removed them from the numbers who is left?

Every time i rent a car in Cape Town i see it has an etoll thingie on it.  I wonder how many of those tagged cars never make it to JHB during the course of its rental life span?

I wonder what the total number of voluntary payers really is.

If you ask around it seems many say they don't pay but am also wondering if it not more are paying than we think.

The article states a projected income of R240m. What is that projection based on?
If you work in the current 60% discount offer then that figure comes down to R95m and the R66m already received is not far off. Not good news.
Hope that projected income figure already includes the discount and e-tags. This would indicate a good resistance from the people.
