Got some gifts in the post to test out...
« on: November 04, 2015, 01:13:16 pm »
It's not every day you get something delivered with no note, just a parcel for your use...

Managed to track down the people and figured that I'd give the goodies a good testing and see what they are all about...
http://store.protech-online.co.za/index.php/

So, a tyre pressure gauge that works on your phone... Neat!  They weigh nothing, will be interesting to see if they survive off-road... presentation is good and contents look like they may just do that! Well see....

And then a terrific charger/jump starter... a small block with the power to charge cell phones, cameras, laptops, i-pads... and then jump-start your car or bike... "not too shabby Nige..." gonna have a ton of fun with this gadget, and it's damn handy, ESPECIALLY on training when guys get flat batteries, with everything!  :)

Stand by for my opinions in a few weeks time!   :thumleft:

Hi Judes.  Can you perhaps take a pic with your hand against that jump starter so one can gauge the actual size?

How many starts do you get on a charge?
Any idea how long it holds the charge for?

Cheers :thumleft:

Ya, but what is really neat, is once you have jump-started something, you can easily re-charge the power-pack to full again through the socket charger from the very vehicle you just started...
So, essentially, you'd never have to rely on the "up to 20" jumps it can do.
