Every week our research into some obscure pass unearths some of the most extraordinary bit of Africana. This week, whilst digging into the history of a small pass called "Die Noute" in Limpopo Province, we stumbled on this unlikely story, but once you read it, you realise that this amazing bit of history actually happened and it's how Nylstroom got its name.
