I have a YZ 250 2 stroke that is roughly 9 years old. Recently it started leaking oil from the motor casing. So I checked it out and it seems like I have a hole in the lower casing right in front of the front sprocket. It seems like my chain actually chipped away at it even though its nowhere close to it. I spoke to a couple of guys and they said that it is quite common for this to happen and that it is indeed the chain.
My question is HOW? And also how do I fix it?
My understanding is that anything yamaha is seriously expensive stuff never mind the belly of the motor casing :-\
