Adjusting Front Brake??
« on: November 11, 2015, 05:14:23 pm »
Hi Guys

I need some advise on how to adjust the front brake on the LC? Except for adjusting the tension of the front brake lever by turning the "1,2,3,4" knob/wheel on the lever itself, is there any other way in which one can adjust the tension of the lever.

Any advice will be much appreciated

What do you mean by "tension"  on the brake lever?

Hydrolic brakes are usually not adjustable.

When the "adjusting wheel/knob" is turned to "4" and the lever is pulled in, it comes close to touching the grip....hope this make sense

It does.   That knob  1 - 4 only adjust the distance of the lever from the handlebar.   It does not have any impact on the braking power or brakes itself.

That is thing I would like to adjust...the distance from the handle bar. If setting "4" is not sufficient, is there some other screws one can adjust to increase the distance from the handle bar?

Nope.   Sorry,  but I am not aware of any other method.
