This is so sad! He had a real adventure spirit.  

We did an epic trip together, up Van Zyl's pass. Peter would never let an opportunity to discover something go by.

Ol' Boardmember was a truly unique individual. I paddled/worked/biked/drank with him and will miss his naughty smile as he walks up to you with "daai hupple in sy stappie" and a new dodgy story to tell. His unconventional ways and searching intelligence rubbed off on me. What a friend. What a legend. In peace my friend.
