Kaokoland 2012 - short video report

My mate Milan and I did quick 10 day dash through Kaokoland in December 2012. Not just due to the fact that Milan had sum total experience of 20 days on any motorbike under his belt, the trip was plagued by series of mishaps from tire blow out on the bakkie, through snapped clutch cable on Tenere in the Huarusib river (and no spare on us), and culminating with Milan's fall at about 100 kmh 15 km before aptly named Epupa Falls - so quite a bit of the first part of the trip was with Tenere at the back of the bakkie. Luckily he and the bike ended up only with bruises, but was out of commission for the rest of the trip and had to return from Epupa Falls on a bakkie with some other mates who happened to be in Namibia. I had to finish the trip going down Van Zyl's pass through Marienfluss and then following the Huarusib, and Hoanib rivers all the way down to Sesfontein on my own.
