Had a new clutch cable fitted on my dakkie recently as the old one had become frayed.
Went for the first good ride this past weekend out to Marico-oog on gravel and noticed my clutch cable seemed to be getting longer to the point where the adjusting screw on the handlebars was all the way out.
Nursed it a bit but it completely failed on the way back near Krugersdorp so could not stop until I got home.
Seems like the little plastic end on the engine side completely melted and stretched...is this normal failure or a bad cable?
