Somewhere between Paul Roux and Senekal in the Freestate, a guy passed me from behind on a KLR650. :eek7:
I followed him and at Winburg we both pulled in for petrol, and a cooldrink. My wife was not there, so I sommer bought a PIE and a Coke.

The KLR rider introduced himself as Bernhardt Grobbelaar[Grobler?], from a farm in Warden. Super friendly and a pleasure to have met.
We rode together to Bloemfontein where Bernhardt had a service appointment for his bike.
Honda had a slogan; "You need the nicest people on a Honda" It needs to be changed to "You need the nicest people on a motorcycle"
I wanted to say; "You need the nicest people on any non-BMW motorcycle", but that would be a lie.
