Note the minimum!!!

As long as you have 5 liters total. This can be 3 on the back, two on the bike, etc. But due to previous years groans regarding a fixed water tank on bikes, I have lessened the requirement to a minimum of two bladders on your back.

Please remember. Its best is to send your queries to entry@amageza.com. The forum may not have the answer or may have the wrong answer! Saying that you read it on the forum won't help at scrutineering! The bike scrutineer is a real tough bugger!  ;D

ehm . . . just one thing . . . about the website (nice pictures, by the way) . . .

I went on the new look www.amagezarallye.com website and NOWHERE could I find reference to the date of the event . . . not on the home page or on any of the 5 "About" links . . .

small things, hey? Don't worry, Alex and co., I am still a great fan. I just thought I'd give some user feedback  :thumleft:
(I'll send an email to the above address as well)

Fixed already. Great response time!!!

Good idea
I would fill one with energy drink and keep one with clean water.
Easy to get to and you have a choice of what to drink.

This is gonna be so awesommmmmmmmmmmme :laughing7: :ricky:

Im beginning to think that the coffee idea is a good idea. Been thrashing about in the hot Zim sun looking at gold mines and cold coffee at 3pm after no breakfast and no lunch does wonders for the soul.

Definitely not ready! However training has started and doing the Pongola 500 as a gauge of what the fitness is.
Bike prep is moving along slowly, nice to come here and see all the pretty things others have done to thier steads. With the amount of money being spent the only thing fit is my swiping arm!!!
Train hard and dont even look at the credit card expenses, deal with that after the race.

SO you all know about David Thomas, who is on his way to Dakar?
https://www.facebook.com/Journeytodakar/?fref=ts and  www.journeytodakar.co.za provides lots of info.
Well I was browsing through info on his website, and I came across this:
