While coming down the Prince Alfred Pass from Avontuur to Knysna,
Tuesday 22nd December, I saw an intact functioning Gopro camera lying in the middle mannetjie.
The tether had snapped and the mount had clearly sheared a while back.
Trying to find the owner to restore it to him.
He left Nam on the 15th, and the SD card has photos meandering through Southern Cape with a friend- Kruger (learned from reception of Rivera Hotel, Velledrif) on a Super Tenere with Windhoek reg plate.
Route was departing 15 dec Riveira Hotel in veldrfit,
18th Dec arrive Reveirsonderend, then on to Caledon at 10H03
19 Dec 09H00 into Swellendam, then on through Suurbraak at 12H21
21 Dec through Laingsburg
crossing the Gamka river at 12H31
22 Dec crossed the Touw in Wilderness direction Knysna, this was the last photo.
Camera was mounted low down on left crash bar (by the looks of things).
I picked it up on the pass at ±13H00 and it was so obvious, I doubt it had lain there long.
Can anyone help me trace Mr Kruger of Windhoek?
He is a young guy of say....55 with a wife riding pillion.
