The 690 I'm prepping for the Amageza Baja seems to have suddenly developed cancer in the Rectifier/Regulator. I thought I would simply buy a Mosfet FH020AA from Motocomp, but they are out of stock. I can order from eBay, but it will be really tight in terms of delivery date.
Option 1: Has anybody got a serviceable OEM 690 RR that was removed to upgrade to a Shindengen Mosfet? I would like to borrow this and get the bike out for the Baja. If this is available, I'll order an eBay Mosfet in the mean time and hopefully get it in time to fit.
Alternatively: has anybody ordered a FH020AA and has not fitted it yet? If so, I would like to take that over and either replace yours when the eBay unit arrives or simply buy it outright.
EDIT: Ordered one off eBay, already shipped; should be here in a week or so.
