Don't know if it was discussed but the last stage battle between van beveren and farres guell was absolutely epic with both posting the exact same time if I'm not mistaken

If my memory serves me correctly I believe there was on 12 second difference between them before the stage so both had to let it all hang out

It was so awesome meeting up with Joey tonight, only 48 hours after he landed and hearing his whole story first hand. Truly inspirational!

Awesome !  Thanks for the photo Speedmetal .  :thumleft:

Can't wait to hear Joey talk here in Cape Town .   :3some:

Besides the way Joey rode the Dakar despite huge challenges , it is the way that Joey tackles life , by just refusing to let obstacles get him down or even occupy his mind-set eg Car ? what car ?  ;)  just focus on the dream not the doubt and get to the finish .  :ricky:

I think Joey could reach a lot of people with his inspiring story and talks , not just Dakar-nutz like us .  :3some:

He can definitely be an inspirational speaker. He has got charisma. You feel like you can take on the world after listening to him. I think his story would make an epic film.

Just for interest, my buddy the mechanic is cleaning out his garage, donated this to the local pub (lots of memorabilia in there) his race number.

The guys say they can do a Pistol on their 3D printer, not impressed I have had a Canon printer for years.
