To all the adventures, bikers and patriots. Team ZA are at the top but need your vote to stay there.

Two of the team members are from CPT. They are performing far better than anyone could have thought as hey are way out in the lead. With your support we can keep them there by voting for their photo

The 2016 GS Trophy, the fourth in the series is being held in Malaysia this week, Monday 29th Feb to Saturday 5th March
Right up in the North, tropical heat, dust bowl of the country,
The country of smiling faces.
TEAMS SA has done well
The last six days have been an awesome rush, cannot believe it has passed so quickly.

The results were hopefully expected, but you never know.
But the boys from SA held it together where it counted, when it counted and they bring home with pride a really well earned trophy.
they lead from day two to day 6!

Three boytjies from SA- went to do battle with 18 other teams from all over thew world.

Stefan Boshof is from Bloemfontein   is the media guy who went with the team,

John Harris is from Bloemfontein

Charl Moolman is from Cape Town and

Byron Coetsee is from Cape Town

Team SA were chosen during trials in 2015 which went through three tiers.

Regional knockout selection in April to June, sent three hopefuls to the final selections in Ammersfoort in September 2015.

And then these final three spent the next months training as a team in skills, stamina and endurance.. and dare I say, in sticking together no matter what.

Team Team Team and Team.

Team SA's rival were Team Germany follówed by the Team UK, while third place was fought over by China, Italy, Latin America, Team CEEU & Brazil.

Team Argentina, who headed up DAY 1 leaderboard, have ended 10th after Day 6.

Follow the team on the Facebook page,
Charl, Byron and John had a media team member (Stefan Boshof), non competitor shadow them as well as a marshal on each day for the rides with marshals at the special stages.

BMW Motorrad supplied Five Training instructors from SA, as did all other countries to assist Tomm Wolf, chief instructor to adjudicate the events.

This is a closed event, only selected media, the teams and officials are on the event.

You've left out John Harris. He is the third member, Stefan is a team manager/mentor/mediaman
