I have just bought a brand new 690 and I am experiencing a lot of false neutrals between 5th and 6th gear. I have tried changing gears in every imaginable way but keep getting them.
When the KTM mechanic was asked about he said don't worry about it all 690's do it. Well I am sorry Mr mechanic I don't buy it or accept it.
I believe there is a kit, made by Factory Pro, that can be fitted which resolves the problem. Clearly the design engineers at Factory Pro are lot cleverer than the one's at KTM, who have had almost 10 years to resolve this problem.
I have owned a 690 before and hated the thing with a passion. I was really expecting all the issues to be resolved 8 years down the line when I bought the new one.
I hope I am not going to hate my new 690 with a passion too.
