Quote from: Brad Binder
It was a race in which I was leading the group on almost every lap to try to take the victory. On the final laps I tried to ride the best line in order to keep my position and see if I could get some luck on the final straight. I pushed very hard but it was very tough as the straight is very long. I had to keep on the gas, and I gave my all, but it wasn't to be. I'm happy with this first podium and with the work done by the whole team this weekend. I want to thank them for that. There is a long season ahead, there are many races and a second place to start the season is fantastic.

Excellent third place Brad.  Very difficult race, well managed.  Seems the team, the bike, the experience and the technology has finally caught up with your talent.

Leading the championship by 5!  Nice!

Really consistant mature ride.

Interesting fact about Brad.  He is now the most experienced Moto3 rider in the field and the only one who started in every single Moto 3 race since the start of the class.

Even I could see the instability on his frontend... Not good. Hope they get it sorted.

But to finish first, first you must finish.

Janee!  That KTM was a thoroughbred DOG this whole weekend.  When he chased for third you could actually see the chatter on TV.  I can only imagine what it felt like on the bike.  Starting 12th, finishing 3rd, still leading the championship is not bad at all.  Hopefully they will get the bike sorted for the European leg of the championship.  That being said, if we look at how the big boys struggled later that day, the track may well have been a big contributing factor.

Hard track to ride, and it seemed like the grip wasn't there... Everybody looked like they were riding on ice, the only one that actually played with the low grip and had a good race was MM

MM93 took a huge risk by going with the soft front tire.  Whereas this bit him in the arse last year in Argentina, this time it paid off handsomely.  We read MM!
