Come to Rim & Rubber in Greenside tonight for the live filming of The Bike Show. The food is good, the drink is good the place is good and even us being there won't ruin it.

Filming starts at around 7, and afterwards Mat and Harry host a bike pub quiz with prizes.

I'd go just for that.

Hopefully being there would produce a clearer picture than the one we see on TV, hopefully better sound too.

Ignition does the bad quality thing on purpose to hide how ugly their presenters are.

It's not bad at all - I quite like it's relaxed approach - at least they say somethings shit when it is.

I never know when it's on so hardly ever see it.

You should do the record all episodes thing then you can skip the ads too, mind you the ads are mostly bike related.

Agree with you, I like the channel to, it's different in a good way. Not scripted and done as the advertisers want it.

I'm not terribly impressed by this new format. The sound is particularly poor and i feel that the presenters can make a better effort instead of sitting their with a printed paper frequently checking it out. They remind me of Zuma whilst reading his speeches. 'failure to prepare is preparing to fail"

Hope it improves soon or else we'll surely see another SA bike program go down in the dumps....

Saturday morning, just do a word search on your PVR - Bike

Then record it, must do a word search regularly as I found the series number changes and I miss an episode

Agree... Top Gear Indeed also used crib notes which was used to quote certain factual information. Its neither here nor there though but it bugs me. I am however an avid follower of the program and would love to join during a live broadcast.

Here's to wishing it a successful future as I would hate to see it disappear.

I often wonder how biker friendly that place would be should me and a few muddy mates show up after a ride. Just driving past gets to me. Not the establishment it self but, rather the rough and ready yuppie patrons and their poser bravado

I like the thinking behind including a studio audience as it creates a vibe that comes through when watching.
However the sound is very poor when in the actual pub. The segments themselves are still great.
I'm not sure how the in pub sound can be improved but it does affect the perceived quality of the programme.

I've previously moaned about the poor video quality, but now the sound is even worse.
It sounds as if the place might be too noisy and the presenters are screaming the whole time.

Previously I would have watched the show at the first opportunity, now I sometimes watch it a week or two later. I still love the show and would not miss it, but yikes it is painful to watch it.
