Hi All

So after being taken out on my 800XC by a stupid u-turning idiot last week... I had to replace my gear lever.

Got the folding type one from SW Motech now, so that it won't bend around and into my foot should this happen again. As much as I've loved crutches

BUT! I can't get the bloody gear lever setting correct again

I had to remove the stock one (its stuffed) and also stupidly loosened the top bit that connect via the spindle to the gearbox itsefl

Can anyone either tell me what angle it should be connected in (preferably in second gear, no idea if it matters but i'm stuck in that gear now)

And then what length the adjusting pin leading down to the gear lever is? Maybe even just a photo of your bike if its stock - and the measurement from the top to the bottom of the adjustable pin part?

Muchos gracias!
