http://www.advpulse.com/adv-products/michelin-anakee-wild-review/

"If you read as many Facebook posts as much as I do, you might have seen the pre-release reviews range from good to bad. The most voiced opinion on these tires have been about the voice of the tires themselves. They’re loud. Or so “they” say. My first question to the pre-testers of course would be, in comparison to what? What was the last tire you had on the bike?"

"Then —and more importantly— I’d add, if you don’t like the sound of the tire on the pavement, get off it! As a dual-sport tire, when the going gets rough —and when you tire of hearing your life being wasted away in a cubicle— take the next hard turn off the pavement and straight into the desert, or forest, or front yard if you have to… put these things to work!"

ok, O-N-L-Y Anakee Wild tyres (fronts) 120/70/19's will be available around 01st week in May 2016 (do NOT flame me :angry4: if they are stuck in a container in Honolulu, I am not the importer, but the Retailer! )

then, a couple of moths later, the 150's and 170's (think 1200 oil-cooled and 1200 Liquid-cooled will be shipped).

They have NOT been launched yet, seems possibly that Durban outfit jumped the gun with PRE-publicity - nothing wrong with that, other than fueling unmet demand!  :BangHead:

More during the 1st week of May.... 2016?  ;D
Cheers

Thanks for that Chris
Until then, I'll have to "use-up" those tyres with a few hundred kms on each, that I've been storing in the garage.
Always knew I'd use them someday.

Nothing nicer than a tyre that you dont have to be kind too, a gravel road and the traction control off.  >:D

While we're all waiting for the Wilds, here's a good deal on the Pirelli Scorpion Rally tyres for the LC. Great tyres in my opinion.
