OK, I have done it, I got the last poster on my wall, a 1990 BMW K1.
She left the factory in the traditional "Marakesh red and broom-handle yellow" colours (like my poster), but got repainted in 1995 into the more sombre official blue/black/purple colour scheme. She is in perfect condition, only a few small nearly invisible heat/stress cracks on the plastics, everything fits, engine sings, etc. Got shipped with the lots of factory fitted stuff, ABS, petrol gage, temp gage, hazards. All the tools and books are there…
I am only taking her on my first proper ride tomorrow, can't wait, will have to get up at 05h30. :ricky:
Some questions
1- so, is it a Brick, I see the K1 is not named in the forum category?
2 - do you think she is pretty or ugly?
3- should I re-paint her back to the original colours or leave her as is?
I can't recall seeing one of these on the road since the 90s, is there any ones still out there?
