This article, and a number of others like it, have been doing the rounds lately. Many people saying the pics are years old and this version will never be produced.

I don't know how old the pics really are, but IMO we're looking at the CRF1000R

Okay, I assumed that it was for real as Adventure rider reports that this prototype was at the Osaka show and the report was dated 21 March 2016.  And they posted a video of the prototype.  If I am incorrect, please accept that I posted it in good faith.

No worries; I thought it was real as well until someone showed me otherwise. I really hope it's real, regardless of when it was first published.
