Very neat.

I like how you've mitred the top and sides joins.

The horizontals are all the same length and butt join the two verticals.
It is the easiest way to shop-cut the wood to the correct lengths.
Life is far too short to be taken too seriously.

 Just had a proper look with my specs. I see all are butt joints.

Still neat though.

Right now Hurricane Laura is hitting Louisiana and the city of New Orleans.

Just a few years ago hurricane Katrina devastated the city, and with wave heights around 15 feet right now, the city will probably be completely under water again.

Laura has strengthened to a cat 4 hurricane already, so the devastation is going to be terrible.

Keep the people up there in your thoughts and prayers please.

Happy Birthday Gary, may it be a great one followed by many more in the years to follow.
Look for good in everyone, if you struggle to see it, add some.
