Deon Meyer is pretty good, not the best out there, but good nonetheless. The English translations are not bad at all, I read 13 Hours and Trackers in both English and Afrikaans.
Tom Clancy (Mentioned before) is pretty good too. Although, his books became VERY predictable after teeth of the Tiger. The Jack Ryan series with some of the The Campus series (spin-offs) are very good. I also enjoyed the John Clark series (Without Remorse, Rainbow Six) and the Stand alone Red Storm Rising.
Jonathan Kellerman's (also mentioned before) Alex and Milo series is pretty good.
Lee Child's (also mentioned before) Jack Reacher series is also pretty good. FYI, Jack is A LOT taller in the books than Tom Cruise.
Stieg Larsson's The Millennium Series is also worth a read (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest and The Girl in the Spider's Web(this one was completed by someone else)) The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye is okay, but you can see it is not the original author.
Jeffery Deaver's Lincoln Rhyme series is also very good.
The only Wilbur Smith I ever finished was Golden Fox.
The rest of my stuff is mostly fantasy and sci fi....
