The tornado warning has expired. Getting very gusty winds now. Stuff is starting to bang into the house. Not sure what... tree branches, stuff like that.

Dorian is now directly east of us, 95 miles east of Palm Bay. Howling winds here, and banging noises.

Shit be gettin' real. Hang on to your butts.

Checking in on the Zogs+Dogs.
We're glad to hear your spirit are still up.  :thumleft:
I know it is just after 10PM your time.
Keep posting if you can.  :eek7:

We trust both you guys will be back earning again soon.

I wonder how Charleston SC is going to fare?
I know it is farther to the North, but the city is barely above sea level and easily floods with rain and storm surges.
I was there around 15 years ago on a visit to the USA.

(PS - I had never been to the States before and then ended up going 3 times in 6 months!
I visited Orlando FL for a hospitals conference, Spartanburg SC for a BMW Clubs International conference and Charlotte NC to visit family.)

A bit of a lull right now.

Also seems that Dorian is moving away to the North, so I'm off to bed.

We'll update again in the morning. All good so far.  :thumleft:

Seems like the worst has been... Hopefully this sitrep is accurate.
Old, grey, crafty...

You can do anything if you have enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is the yeast that makes your hopes rise to the stars. Enthusiasm is the sparkle in your eyes, the swing in your gait, the grip of your hand, the irresistible surge of will and energy to execute your ideas. Enthusiasts are fighters. They have fortitude. They have staying qualities. Enthusiasm is at the bottom of all progress. With it, there is accomplishment. Without it, there are only alibis.

Morning...  :sip:

We are ok, we have power  :thumleft: We are no longer under a hurricane warning, we have been downgraded to a tropical storm warning. Still very gusty outside, and lots of rain, but I think we should be clear by lunchtime.

Just for fun, we are now watching Tropical Storm Fernand and Tropical Storm Gabrielle... (Erin came and went earlier last week). Fernand is over Mexico, and should be no threat to us. Gabrielle is in the eastern Atlantic and it's too early to tell what her path will be.

Time for COFFEE. Mr. Zog is still asleep. I didn't sleep much. I just let Sammy out for a pee because he was bursting (Maggie is in bed with Mr. Zog). I had a quick scan around with the flashlight (still dark here), and it doesn't look like we have any major damage, but daylight will tell.
