I had a quick google, but don't see a boat show happening locally this weekend...

Florida Boat Show in Daytona Beach, May 19-21

http://www.thefloridaboatshow.com/

Quick Mr Zog, get out there and give the Tupperware Tugboat another polish and get it down to boat show.

Don't they make stupidly powerful inboards then...?  ;D

Yes.  Sterling Performance in Milford, Michigan is considered to be one of the finest marine engine builders in the world.  Several of the top teams in off-shore powerboat racing use Sterling engines.

Builds range from 600 HP naturally aspirated V8's to Twin-Turbo V8's with 1700 HP.

If that's not enough power, you can go the Blown Nitro-Methane route with engines producing between 8,000 HP - 10,000 HP  :eek7: like these 400+ KM/H monsters:

Thank you Sir

1. Mrs Zog has better Google skilz than me.

2. Daytona isn't local... its more than 3 hours North of here.

3. Both of those boats were heading AWAY from Daytona direction.

Guys & Girls...

I want to thank everyone, again, who has contributed to the GoFundMe account to help me get my son Thomas over here for Christmas. You are awesome. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart.

I have worked a few extra jobs, and made a few extra $$$ on the side. I got screwed on the one job, got paid in kind instead of cash. I can sell the mower, but the second-hand value of these things are only about $500, so not worth it to sell.

We are almost there, the price of two return air tickets. Just a couple of hundred bucks more. Any further assistance we can get would be so highly appreciated. Both Mrs Zog and I are working many many extra hours to try and make it happen. But we can only do so much before exhaustion takes over, and then we make mistakes and errors at work, which is not good.

Here is the link again, just in case there is still anyone who can help.

My son is SO excited that he is going to come visit me. I last saw him in November, and by the time he gets here in December it will be 13 months apart. Blooming tough on the little guy, and fucking heartbreaking for the old toppie  :'(   But I'm counting the days...

Thank you.
