Golden Gate Getaway

It was time to get out into nature, and what better place than Golden Gate in the backyard of Gauteng. Also, what better time than Easter when the last of the summer sun paints the sandstone formations in different shades of gold. I also managed a quick incursion into Lesotho over Monontsha pass, but since I did not go through any  passport control, I did not linger around too long. Of course, some hiking was also on the agenda. Enjoy, and do visit the Glen Reenen camping ground which must be one of the best-located spots in the country.
