Here we go again - Jetting 97 model
I have no problem starting and idling
When accelerating it goes really well
Problem comes when cruising It still get hickups and when letting go of throttle it seems like it stutters. Also it battles to start when really hot.
Things to keep in mind
I am on sea level
got the bike with 160 main and 62 pilot.
needles on center clip
i have a foam filter with
the snorkel thing removed
i have a scorch after market muffler
float level is to spec
I got a feeling its the pilot jet? is the 62 to big or to small
Scott summers recommends this?
Main Jet: 155 (152 is stock)
- Pilot Jet: 68 (62 is stock)
- Air Screw: 2-1/2 turns out
Anyone out there with some much needed advice on what jetting to run before i go and order 100 different jet sizes
