My BRP passed the 40 000km mark yesterday, and I can honestly say this is a tough reliable & cheap to run bike bar none!!  :thumleft: :thumleft:

Bought her new 4yrs ago and has been using her properly right across South Africa and Lesotho on any surface and in any kind of conditions - WITHOUT ONE SINGLE HICCUP EVER !!!

From 43 degree Celsius in the Karoo to minus whatever - (Even the choke cable was frozen-up once!), she always starts and goes!!

The last time she has been serviced by a Dealer was on 10 000km. I do all servicing myself, every 5-6000km. Check valve clearance every 10-15 000km.

She has been through many many tyres, one standard and two aftermarket air-filters, second set of brake pads front and rear, and second set of chain & sprockets.

Replaced rear wheel bearings just after 18 000km as a precaution, and steering-head bearings on 37 000 km.
O yes, and one headlight bulb  ::) - that's it !!!

Still going like I got to know her - ZERO ISSUES !!!

QUALITY & SIMPLICITY IS THE LASTING IMPRESSION

ps. and she can still stand proud next to a new AT !!  8)  O0
