One GS lost it's rear seat, .............. Adv technically incorrect, something can only be lost if not found, and Mines found!!
In all honesty though, this is a problem on the 1200GS, quite a few have fallen off various bikes over the years, probably not covered under warranty either.....

I must be honest - after I read this yesterday - I went home and inspected my rear seat. Must say, I cannot see how it can just 'fall off' (unless not properly installed by mistake)... Unless I'm missing an operational defect of some sort?!?
