Swartmodderfontein Pass

This pass was filmed back in October 2013 and whilst the pass itself wasn't much bother for the Land Cruiser, the return trip to Matatiele involved 175 km of driving through some of the most amazing Eastern Cape scenery, which involved negotiating our way through 18 tribal villages, some awful roads, cattle, kids, dogs and taxis, but the views were heavenly. Add in a violent electrical storm with torrential rain which turned the roads instantly into rivers and we had one memorable pass filming trip.
