The miss really likes being pillion and is getting irritated that im not taking her away enough on the bike.. Ive been resisting because although the Transalp is a lekker bike, it really misses that 6th gear required for touring and doing long distances, also being a 700cc its seldom cruising especially when loaded unless you doing 100 - 120m per hour and I don't have that long to live to get somewhere.
Most of the touring will be done on road with probably a little offroad thrown in. I frankly do enough offroad touring on the transalp and enough offroad ripping it through dunes on the 450x to need another offroad bike, however if it can do gravel that is a bonus.
I was leaning towards the S10 but also looking at the VFR1200
Who likes what as a 2 up, with luggage long distance tourer and why.
Budget is around R70 - R85k depending on what needs to be bought in terms of extras.
