Husky 701 crash bars now available at the Flying Brick Store...

We have ordered a good few sets in, in WHITE, but could do other colors on special request.

For those wondering, it IS different - slightly! - to the 690 crash bar, the plastics on the Husky  reach down SLIGHTLY lower than those on the 690, and would have touched a regular 690 crash bar, so these have been adjusted to fit perfectly!

Cheers

Do you have a pick of them fitted to a bike?

not yet, but I will ask HERE if the 2 purchasers thus far could post a pic?

We USUALLY install crash bars ON SITE in our fitment center, and then ALWAYS take reference pics, but both customers thus far took them home to fit, since they are a quick-fit!

Will also ask manufacturer if he has a reference pic for us...

thanks!  :thumleft:

Thanks Chris. I'm not interested in taking a pair, but just want to see how/where they would sit and what they'd protect.  :thumleft:

Is the back luggage rack the same as the one for the 690?

yes and no!

INSPIRED by the 690 rack, but it is being / has been (?) adjusted to the 701, so it is not a direct swap out, so far as we hear...

Hi,

Is this silver/chrome the actual colour of the bars or do they still get painted?  Because I like this colour as per this pic, would like to see pics once fully fitted, both crashbars and luggage racks.

thx

they build pannier racks (and crash bars) out of TWO materials:

1. stainless steel, that is the finish you see here (and you say you like)...

2. then, on request, they will make mild steel, which then need to be powder-coated, color of your choice.

The stainless bars seems to merge/dissapear into the bike, more than a solid black, but your choice.
