CRF1000 Crashbars etc
« on: April 22, 2016, 09:01:10 pm »
From the Rockfox Lab

First batch of 5 Crashbars made and 4 sold, (One set left)

We looked at the option to remove the panel to reach the air filters without removing the bars.  This will only be possible with low bars or a massive gap between the bars and the plastics. It took about 5 minutes to remove the plastics.  The mounting point are now re-designed to remove both bars in less than 40 seconds. (2 M6 bolts and 2 M8 nuts per side.)

M6 rivnuts spot mouning point included.  The bars are powdercoated 'smoked black' to match the frame.  We still wait for the suppliers to blend the correct color and sheen.

The recommended retail will be around R2 500.00 incl VAT.

WE ARE RUNNING A SPECIAL FOR THE FIRST 10 CUSTOMERS AT R1 950.00 INC vat. Normal R300.00 courier for out of SlaapStad apply.

This batch will be ready for shipment by Thursday 28th April.

Pannier racks and bashplate should be ready by first week in May.
