My bombardier quad have similar engine than the older twin spark F650 BMW bikes. Albeit with a few tweaks etc here and there.
I would like to know how does the oil sensor work? What does it do? What does it not do?
The sensor is screwed into the engine next to the oil filter and only one wire connect it.
After a wash yesterday my quads oil light wont go off after starting. When I switch the ignition on the light is on, when I unplug the wire from the oil sensor the light goes off. Plug it in and the light goes on. Start and it stays on.
The oil level is 100%
The oil sensor is about 2 months old. I had it replaced as precaution when I bought the quad
