I'm attending the GS Trophy at Drakenville somewhere between Clarens, Bergville and Van Reenen
I'll be riding solo and I'll be on a borrowed R1200GS Adventure
I'm planning to ride through Lesotho, but I'm a little pressed for time and could definitely use your advice.

I'd like to leave on the 3rd of May and arrive in time for the event on the 5th of May.
Which one of the following is best for optimum sightseeing and photo opportunities vs time:
I don't mind technical terrain, I can handle myself. I do mind riding in the dead in minus temperatures though

Option 1:
3 May: Cape Town to Lady Grey - sleepover
4 May: Lady Grey to Tele (border) to Semonkong - sightseeing (waterfall) and sleepover
5 May: Semonkong to Roma to Monantsa Pass (border) and on to Drakenville (destination)
I like this one because I get to see the waterfall for the first time
