The question is, what radio frequency do the farmers in the rural Northman Cape use for their safety and security,
We were up in the Northern Cape on Sunday, between Kamiskroon and Springbok, about 40 Km from the N7 when one of riders hit a tree in a riverbed, we were lucky that even though he was injured ( broken Ribs and Badly bruised Lung)he did ride out , We do however carry portable VHF and UHF radios in the group between riders, if we had the frequencies for the local farmers we could have got help from them vie radio, instead of risking the ride out with him, , He was high on adrenalin at the time and did not want to leave his bike behind in the bush.
