Bluebull2007 just told me about this thread this am and all I can muster up is, wow! Mind boggling what you have overcome and your story is such a great inspiration. thank you for sharing.

One problem is all the pictures don't show up?

Looks like Saturday is going to be a HUGE day!

Plan for the day - Riders!

Enduro boys, arrive 7am to go play on the Enduro Loop. No more entries into the loop after 12. Do registration and get bike number. Endure the Riders Briefing when you are ready to ride and then you are released. First few kilo's is at 20km's per hour, then...
This route is "Pitch Black"! Seriously!

Skills guys, there is one tight cone-like track and 2 open-riding tracks with a good number of challenges on the routes. You can ride one only, or all of them (you can win The Best of the Best Challenge by riding all three).
All you guys pay R250 for the day (or more, it is a fund raiser after all).

Music!
Chris Moller, our music guru for the event, with others, including Duzzy Clayton, have asked a few bands to donate time to this event, and they have come up with a whopper of a play plan! We have amazing bands playing and Accoustic artists... with more joining as I type!
Wow! Wow! Wow!
If you are not into riding, bring a brolly and a picnic blanket and enjoy the bands on the lawns!
Here's the current music line-up! I'll post more info on the bands later.
11-12am. Couch Ninjas
12-1pm. Riot Control
1-2pm. Announcements/speakers/ auction etc
2-3pm. Lindo M - Accoustic Player
3-4pm. Dagdroom
4-5pm. The Paper Plane Society
5-6pm. Taking Autumn

Mass ride with Ride for a Reason!
ALL ROADS CLOSED!
Ride for a Reason will be doing a mass ride from World Wear Centre at 08H30 to ADA.
More info here: https://www.facebook.com/rideforareasonsa/?fref=ts

Questions:
Is there an entry fee? NO, just a bucket for donations if you'd like to add to it!
Can I just sit and enjoy the bands? Yes, bring a chair or blanket and brolly!
What time? Enduro riders will kick off at 7am, the rest of us will get going after 8!
Can I bring the kids? Yes, it's a very kid friendly event, even for the littlies.
Would my wife enjoy the day? If she rides, enjoys good music, or just wants to sit back and relax, yes!
Kids?  Plenty for them to do... even a bicycle skills track! and a YBike track for the under 5's, Paint ball, slips and slides, jumping castles....
What is there to eat? We have a kitchen with boerrie and prego rolls, an the bar will stock Beer and cooldrinks! Anything else, bring it along. Nothing nicer than a bottle of wine while enjoying the music!
How difficult is the Skills challenges, and are they just cone events? One track is a tight technical riding cone type event, the other two tracks are open, flowing tracks with interesting challenges. There are route options for the less skilled riders so they can also participate!
Prizes? Yes, for all the skills challenges, as well as the "Best of the Best" prize! You'd need to ride all three tracks well.

See ya all on Saturday!
