Plottie all the roads you guys rode i have driven by mostly car but also some of them by bike. The reason sesriem was/is such a mess is because it is run by the NWR (Namibian Wildlife Resorts). It a shame really.

The dassie you saw in Goageb - the boer they were referring to was my Oupa. He farmed in the area and my Ouma ran that filling station. I should have some more pics of that dassie somewhere at home - a stout bl!ksempie!

Boys i really enjoed reading it. I stumbled onto it through another thread but hopefully by reviving it some other newer WD's can have some benefit out of it too.

Ah, yes I enjoyed this one first time round.  I'm gonna re read it cos I really think I have a serious offer on my house/business and so I'll be shipping my bike down your way next year and heading straight up the the best place to ride a GS.  Oh yes.  More beer please...

Had a magic ride  :ricky:  Nam the place of dreams, endless roads scenery to take ones breath away, you guys captured it as only one can whos been there. thanks for sharing. You ous deserve a cold one.   :bar:
