It was an interesting ride out in the mud this morning but seems most or all survived.

I met up with the Slumdogs at the Kliphotel in the Langkloof. I'll go back another day to apologize for Spoedvark  :lol8:

Thanks Gerrard for once again organising an awesome EC Bash.  :thumleft: Thanks also must go once again to Chris Lamprecht and the rest of the local community for the great hospitality and catering - it simply would not be the same without their investment.

We (my son Josh and myself) were home for lunch  :ricky: We went back through the kloof to Patensie (none of this long way round wussie Willowmore gravel highway and blacktop stuff  ;)) which was an absolute beaut of a ride. While there was a bit more water in the dips and driffies there was nothing too technical and traction was good and loamy most of the time. We saw lots of wildlife having breakfast and the air was clear and crisp.

Home from another epic bash. As always, superbly organised hosted and catered. And a great bunch of dogs and  er, lady dogs. Thanks to all that came along.

The rain was kind, didn't get wet, well hardly anyway, riding there and home again.

Also got taken by surprise at that same water splash, but the surprise is that I reacted just right and gunned it through feet up.

Coming back on the snotty-in-places Willowmore road, I was blown away not once, but twice, by a couple of fast riders who probably didn't even see me, I was moving so slowly. I was pretty certain who they were, but then I guess I must be wrong, because they were standing on the pegs, so it couldn't have been Sit Down Dan.
Could it?

Parkinoff and I tested the 990 - he was on the HP and we played tagg up to Uniondale's turnoff - soreeee  :ricky:
Safely home  :thumleft:

The ride was slippery but lekker thanks Nimmo. Just walked in at home. Glad to see you're safe.

Thank you to Gerrard for allowing some missfits (mainly me) there. Did not look forward to the socializing but no-one bit or bliksemd me so I actually enjoyed it very much - second bash done and dusted. Met some really cool people.

Thanks.
