Got home safely, but not without some minor issues. This was my first bash and absolutely loved it.

Just want to thank old man G for the organisation.
All the people who helped make it what it was.
Special shout out to the 'tannies & ooms' who made those burgers, currie, hotdogs and that fantastic Spit-braai. The food was moer lekker.
Have to mention the forest that sacrificed itself for those two epic fires we had.
And then to the group that I rode with; Terra, Tony the Boney, CraigB, Piets, Brian and 2SD, it was great.

Will hit some more pictures later.

Thanks Gerrard for once again organising an awesome EC Bash.  :thumleft: Thanks also must go once again to Chris Lamprecht and the rest of the local community for the great hospitality and catering - it simply would not be the same without their investment.

We (my son Josh and myself) were home for lunch  :ricky: We went back through the kloof to Patensie (none of this long way round wussie Willowmore gravel highway and blacktop stuff  ;)) which was an absolute beaut of a ride. While there was a bit more water in the dips and driffies there was nothing too technical and traction was good and loamy most of the time. We saw lots of wildlife having breakfast and the air was clear and crisp.

Looks a at least a bit technical to me! Nice ride home it looks like BD  :drif: I took the tar home from Willowmore, my gloves were wet and arse sore.

Stinkhoutdraai on Montague Pass on the way there, on my own.
My rides:

Super Hex TTI Alexithymia with completely unnecessary, but very expensive Nemophilistic suspension. Electroflux Gogglemaster Oenophilia Edition. 1983 (very rare) Yonderly Bawhair with heated grips.

Nimmo ek kan nie wag vir jou HP2 vs 990 report nie........
Ek is so so gewoond daaraan dat jy die HP2 ry, nooit gedink jy sal die verandering maak nie.

Positief en negatief, vertel ons.......   ::)

Wel, wat ek opgemerk het is dat hy die heelpad sit. Ek het gestaan en steeds gereeld deurgestamp ???

Thanks To Gerhad and his crew for another successful Doringkloof Bash.
I had a good group of riders , thanks to all of you for making the trip a success .

BUT , we didnt all get home on our bikes ,

Due to the wet roads , our Group wasnt as quick as we usually are , so we only got to KTM Kevs 15km long sandy, rocky , 8 gate driveway in the dark.
Without a long story , lets just say the buck didnt get hit by Kevs KTM990, but Kev did get trapped under his bike for some 45 minutes in the pitch black dark, and he did brake his collar bone,
Eish !
Luckily , we had a back up 4x4 , we got him safely to Kevs Holiday house, recovered his bike in the morning, and Riaana drove him safely back over the bumpy road , safely back home to his wife.

The collar bone is broken , but luckily doesn't require surgery.

Heal soon Kev !
