Am I a fool?
About six months ago I changed from a 650 to the GSA.
I love it. Great for the open road. (tar or gravel) As a novice I am reasonably comfortable with it in minor technical stuff as well.
One of the things that made me go for the GSA was wind protection. It did not disappoint me there. I also liked the superior luggage set-up.
But it is one big machine. Something tells me I will enjoy the 1200GS more. It just feels more nimble at slow speeds. I feel more in control.
I do not need the GSA tank capacity. Most of my riding is breakfast runs (with pillion mostly), little bit in the city and the occasional weekend trip with the wife. And then twice a year playing on a friends Karoo farm.
Is my midlife crisis just bigger than I thought, is this a temporary bug or is this just life, ie do it. Or am I a fool?
Forget about the money for now, which is not that easy.
Please comment. (Yes I know it is just a choice I must make)
