Garmin Montana 650t - What's it worth? Any good?
« on: May 27, 2016, 10:52:16 am »
I've been offered one - it's about a year old and in perfect condition. It has the box and all the bit & pieces. No extra maps; just the standard topographical maps.

Pricecheck reckons R7000 for a new one, so half that?

And are they any good for the riding we do? I've only ever used Google Maps up until now so I have no idea what the Garmin Map story is. Would I need to fork out thousands for extra maps?
Bensien - Wife came home today with a Samsung 3D LED TV and 3D Blue Ray player with built in wi-fi and 1TB hard drive. What else do I need?
Kaboef - A cheaper wife.

Awesome device Gigs
Buy tracks for Africa and you have the latest
Have had mine for 3 years now -trouble free
Buy the garmin cradle and you are good to go

Basecamp is a free download for route planning and converting to tracks, uploading and downloading
