For those needing work visa, see attached form.

I often do work in Namibia and sometimes the visas can take a long time to be issued so apply well in advance. Also make sure of dates, they are particular about this.

Along with this form you need passport copy, passport photo and certificates/documents of your qualifications if any.

so,if you arrive at the border post on the bike do you just show your passport?

For tourist visa, yes you do. You fill out a little form right there that is your application for tourism visa and bob's your uncle. On the vehicle front, take registration papers with you and if you are not the owner then an authorisation letter stating that the vehicle is allowed to leave the country. I cross over often for work and have never been asked for these papers but, they are allowed to ask you and then you have to be able to show it so better safe than sorry.
