Enduro World is planning a new Mini-Enduro Series aimed at Junior and Novice riders, but also accommodating Dual-Purpose Riders. The series is designed to help young and new riders to develop basic skills and gain racing experience in a controlled, fun environment.

We plan to kick off at Wild West where a separate new track is being prepared especially for us, on Saturday 11th June 2016.
Following registration the day will begin with an hour of coaching by pro/ experienced riders on basic techniques. Riders Briefing will then take place, followed by heat races and wrapping up at about 13h30.

The course – will be a fun track of approximately 2 to 3 km’s long, mostly flowing but with lots of twists and turns and mildly technical sections (within each classes capabilities).

Enduro Classes (actual classes run on the day will depend on entries and interest):
Bobcat – For the very new young riders on small bikes like PW50/ 80, OSET, KTM 50
Puma – For the quicker young riders on bikes like PW80, CRF70, KTM 50 etc (non geared or semi auto)
Cheetah – For the slightly bigger kids on up to 65cc two stroke (or similar 4 stroke) geared bikes
Leopard – Kids on 85cc bikes (or similar 4 stroke) not ready for Pro Mini
Pro Mini – advanced kids up to 15 years old on 85cc (or equivalent 4 stroke)
Green – For novice adults (up to Club level – not including Intermediate riders)
Ladies – For novice ladies over 16 (come on Mom’s, you can do it)

Dual Purpose Classes (must be actual dual-purpose bikes, no roadworthied enduro bikes)
Single – e.g. KTM 640/ XR 650/ XT 660/ KTM 690/ Husqvarna 701
Mid – up to 1000, e.g. KTM 950/ 990/ BMW 800/ Triumph 800/ Africa Twin
Open – e.g. BMW 1200 GS/ KTM 1050/ 1190

The events would be WOMZA affiliated - participants would require a WOMZA license and medical cover that covers you for dirt bike racing.
WOMZA has come to the party in order to encourage growth in the sport and we are able to offer Club Membership and a license for the remainder of 2016 for just R200. We will also make the process of getting your license painless by handling that for you.

Please help us gauge the interest by emailing [email protected] if you would be interested and would enter your kids/ yourself. Constructive comments also welcomed.
